Yes, completely. Browsing the directory, consulting profiles, reading reviews and posting a project are all free for homeowners, without exception.
Anyone who has worked with a contractor can leave a review directly on their profile. Supporting proof (invoice, photo of the company vehicle or uniform) is required. Each review is examined by our team before being published, to make sure it reflects a real experience.
Go to the "Post a Project" page, fill out the form (title, detailed description, city, type of work, estimated budget) and add photos if you have any. Contractors in your region will be able to view your project, ask questions or reach out to discuss it.
No. Your email and phone number are never publicly displayed. When you post a project, contractors see the description, city, type of work and approximate budget, but not your contact details. A contractor can reply with a detailed pre-quote or simply express interest. Only when you choose to accept their response is your contact information shared with them.
The contractor creates an account from the "Sign Up" page by selecting the contractor profile. They then fill out their profile (services offered, service areas, RBQ licence number, contact info) from their pro space. The profile appears in the directory as soon as it is completed.
Yes. Contractors can post listings for new or used materials from their pro space. Homeowners and other contractors can browse these listings in the "Materials" section and contact the seller directly.
Yes. Registered contractors can post job openings directly from their pro space. Candidates can apply online and the contractor receives applications by email.
Your data is handled in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 on the protection of personal information. We never share your information with third parties without your consent. You can request modification or deletion of your data by contacting us at confidentialite@zonereno.ca.
